Benefits of Wheatgrass


Wheatgrass has been used for hundreds of years as a natural source of vitamins dating as far back as the 1800s, and now sits itself firmly in the centre of modern 'Superfoods'.

Wheatgrass contains:

• Amino acids - amino acids are the building blocks for proteins.

• Vitamins B, C, E, K - this even includes Vitamin B12.

• Important minerals - packed with calcium, zinc, selenium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and sulphur.

Vitally wheatgrass is a natural source for the human body to obtain the nutrition it needs. Though in order to gain the full benefits of wheatgrass it must be juiced to ensure the gut can absorb the nutrients efficiently. If the grass is not juiced the bulk of the nutrients will pass through the body undigested.

Here at 1 Juice we've strived to bring wheatgrass into the 21st Century by developing a method of keeping the wheatgrass in its most natural juice state (not powder!). Amazingly we don't use heat or unnatural preservative, but we ensure the delicate flavours and nutritional benefits are preserved by an incredible technology called High Pressure Processing (HPP).
